Hey! I’m Sian – a travel-obsessed content creator and travel blogger who’s always on the lookout for adventure, budget-friendly trips, and seriously good food 🍜✈️
I created Jetsetting with Sian to share real and honest travel experiences — from hidden gems and local eats to money-saving tips and everything in between. Whether I’m hiking through mountains, exploring a new city, or taste-testing street food, I’m all about making travel fun, accessible, and a little bit spontaneous.
My love of travelling came when I was around 18. I wasn’t a ‘well-travelled’ kid as we mainly holidayed in the UK when I was young. We loved camping and tried it all; tents, trailer-tents and caravans. I finally went on a plane for the first time when I was 17 to Mallorca in Spain! Shortly after, I went on a cruise to Norway to see the Norwegien Fjords (and wow was it beautiful). I went on my first trip with my partner in 2015 to Gran Canaria and shortly after on a city-break to Amsterdam. After this, my first longer-haul adventure was pending and we booked our first trip to Thailand! We spent 2.5 weeks exploring Bangkok, Krabi, Phi Phi and Phuket. This was the trip that really ignited my love of travelling and since then, I’ve always had a trip in mind.
Until late 2025, I was balancing my love of travel with my 9-5 back home. Always maximising and making the most of the annual leave to explore as much as possible! With some calculations, I have generally done a good job. My highlight is visiting 12 countries in 2024 around my full-time job. Now, I’ve entered a new chapter where I’m not held back by a 9-5 and annual leave allowances which is even more exciting!
You’ll usually find me with a camera in one hand and a passport in the other — capturing moments for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram (@jetsettingwithsian on everything!).
